The Chenay Bay Beach Resort offers 50 guestrooms in 35 one-story, pastel-wood, West-Indian–style cottages. The cottages are arrayed on low slopes amid trees and flowering gardens. Each high-ceilinged room has its own covered unfinished-wood porch with outdoor furniture. Fully equipped kitchenettes include two-burner cooktops, microwave ovens, and full-size refrigerators. Decor includes mahogany blinds, silk plants, fresh blossoms, rattan or mahogany furniture (including two-chair dining sets), and local artwork.
Televisions offer about 100 cable channels. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioners. Arriving guests receive a complimentary bottle of champagne. Smoking is permitted only on porches.
